    Friends!

    hik recommends this,

Not the cheapest option, nor the most original one, but I enjoyed every minute of my visit to Friends. Loved the tapas style bites, loved the atmosphere, loved the waiters-in-training, working so hard, being very polite and always with a smile. Took the cookbook home to have some Friends-at-home. Friends is pretty much a Phnom Penh sight in its own right. Yum!

    Well Worth the Visit

    ezy recommends this,

Friends is a lovely little restaurant, very clean and has beautiful décor. The food is a bit pricier than backpackers are used to paying in Cambodia, but since all proceeds go to training and looking after street children and youths it’s worth it. While the service is a little slow, the staff are impeccably polite, helpful and friendly. Why not pop over to the Friends shop while you wait for a spot of shopping or even a manicure (also done by street youth training for the hospitality industry)! The food is well worth the wait though, a delicious fusion of oriental and western tapas style dishes very beautifully presented. One of my favourites was the crispy noodle salad. They also have interesting deserts such as chilli ice cream with caramelised pineapple!

    Something for everyone

    nadnams recommends this,

Friends Restaurant offers an extensive menu of small, tapas style dishes to be shared with others as well as a range of full size meals on the specials board. They have a large range of vegetarian options such as the sundried tomato homus on crispy wanton wrappers and the spinach and cheese ravioli. For the meat lovers their chicken with cashews and mango is fantastic as are their tacos and shrimp wontons. To accompany this fantastic food choose one of their daiquiris, the strawberry and lime is my favourite
