    Ultrafriendly Staff, High Prices and a food poisoning

    sanction4 does not recommend this,

    Were here on 9th March 2012 - prices are really high (around 6-8$ for a mains) but it is for a good cause. Food was a bit disappointing though and my gf had a rough night after eating there (food poisoning second time only after traveling for 5months). We wouldn't go there again.

    ...must be a case of food addiction! we just came back from a two-weeks trip to Cambodia, and we managed to dine twice at Romdeng, such was the quality of the food, the great service, the lovely location, and did I mention the food? amazing... This restaurant is also part of the "Friends" NGO family, so on top of it all you're also contributing to a good cause, and together with showing former street youth the ropes of the business, they also sell some of their lovely artifacts (posters, bookmarkers, postcards). The design beyond the whole enterprise is amazing, be it the website, the menu or their famous recipe book, chapeau!
