An "experience of a lifetime"... to spend a day with free roaming (rescued) Asian elephants at Mondulkiri Elephant and Wildlife Sanctuary, Sen Monorom, Cambodia.
The morning starts with a beautiful, leisurely walk through wonderful scenery to locate the elephants on the hill. You then get to spend a little over two hours enjoying the elephants company, taking photographs and learning about them and their habitat. Just sitting there and watching the elephants eat and roam freely and without a…
Is there any exotic off beat photography locations in and around Siem Reap other than popular Angkor temples ? I would be visiting between October 26- Nov 2 and I don't have any idea how crowded it would be there in SiemReap and angkor temples. I love to click temples which are still not much explored by tourists.
What is the traffic towards PP like around the Bon Om Touk water festival (13, 14, 15th November 2016)?
Does the travel take much longer because so many people hit the capital those days?
Is it worth to adapt our itinerary to fit PP visit around these days?
Is it worth to visit the 3 days of the festival?
Is it best to make hotel reservations up front?
I'm thinking of comin to Pnom Penh in January. I need a new visa for India. I'm looking for a place to stay in the city for possibly 2 weeks while the visa is processed.
I'd travel around a bit and spend longer in Cambodia if I could land on my feet and stay healthy. (I'm slightly prone to asthma and allergy which apparently account for bad headache. )
I'd like to spend US$ 6 perhaps 7.50 a night. Could you advise as to how realistic this is? A decent room for this price, not too polluted, close…
We are in Siem Reap and here weather is fairly good. Mostly sunshine, and just a little rain. We think about going to Sihanoukville for a couple of days, but how is the weather?. From up hire, we know that you can't rely on the weatherforcast.

We are in the early planning stages for a three week trip to Cambodia in December/January. I know that it is the high season, but by going over the US Christmas/New Year holiday we can add an extra week to our trip, so......
I am wondering about Chi Phat with a toddler. Our daughter will be almost 3, so we are planning to travel slowly---maybe choosing 3 or 4 places in total: Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, maybe an island for the beach, and were also hoping for an opportunity to see some of…
Going to spend few days in Phnom Penh the second week of Nov. Looking for recommendations about good neighborhoods to base ourselves. Would prefer to be centrally located and if I can get near the water front even better if there are good options. Look for good mid range options and will be traveling with our 8 year old son so safety, location, and near family activities if possible are considerations.
