Hôtel les Palmiers
Address
Lonely Planet review
This place is something special, an oasis blending the best of understated African style with European levels of comfort. All the rooms, which are arranged around a leafy compound, are adorned with local prints and traditional wooden masks, and the more expensive rooms have satellite TV and an Internet connection for laptops. The garden is compact, but easily the nicest in Ouaga, with a small pool and a shady bar and restaurant. The location - on a quiet street but just a short walk from the centre - is another bonus.
For this price, you won't find more charm in Burkina Faso. Not surprisingly, it's often full, so book ahead.
