Yellow fever is the only obligatory immunisation for entering Burkina Faso.
It is recommended that you get a comprehensive health insurance before you travel to Burkina Faso – it should cover emergency evacuation and/or repatriation. Having sufficient funds that cover the cost of any medical treatment abroad and possible repatriation (in addition to the health insurance) is well advised.
Tap water is not drinkable in any destination in Burkina Faso. Drink bottled water.
