Has anyone recently crossed the boarder between Ghana (Paga) and Burkina Faso (Leo) and knows how much visa's cost. Everyone says it cheaper to get a visa in Accra or Kumasi. However, as I am based in Tamale it will cost me to get to Accra/Kumasi or use a travel agent. As such, I am trying to find out the cost of the visa at the boarder.
The specific visa I am interested in is a 12 month multi-entry visa.
I understood this was on even numbered years, but some sites are offering booking for Feb 2017. I find no info on festima site. Does anyone know if there is to be one 2017? Is it becoming annual? Thanks
I am travelling overland to Burkina from Ghana (crossing the boarder at Paga) and have about 8 days to spend in the country (before heading back to Ghana). We dare a group of travelers visiting Ghana and Burkina Faso and we are going to apply for visa for Burkina in Kumasi on the 1st of February.
Because we will take a group visa (which costs 63Ghc per person) and one person could join us, you are welcome to do it if you like to get this way less expensive visa and share costs with us.

I'm currently in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. I got my Burkina visa in Bamako, Mali 2 months before I arrived, and today when I tried to apply for"visa entente" at the passport office in Ouagadougou, I was denied, because apparently you need to have at least 2 months left on your current visa to get the visa entente. They also cannot make a new Burkina visa for me because my current visa was made in Mali. So they have suggested that I get a 3 months visa for Niger (50,000CFA) in…
