Lonely Planet review for Free Sofia Tour

This free walking tour led by a local tourism volunteer NGO sets off twice daily from in front of the Palace of Justice (diagonally across the road from McDonalds). Led by friendly, English-speaking volunteers, the two-hour brings you by the city’s main sites, with lots of interesting background presented in a fun and engaging way. The tour is a hit with travellers from backpackers to businesspeople, serves as a great introduction to Sofia and often makes new friends among other travellers and locals in the process.

    Misha was a great guide, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about her city. Any questions we had were clearly answered. A great way to see the sights and get a bit of background knowledge on Sofia, and the history of Bulgaria.

    we absolutely LOVED the tour today, it's seriously been the highlight of my stay in Sofia so far, It would be brilliant if you guys had multiple routes as i'd LOVE to go on more tours with you around Sofia, walk around the city and enjoy the sights, sounds and stories once more! Thank you Boyko!!! :)
