    I have become a great fan of (realist) Bulgarian painters of mid 20th century - and this gallery introduced me to artists I had not known about eg Atanas Stoikov. The tour was made all the more pleasant by the amplifications of one of the curators - a charming Slovak lady - and a chat with the Director in his office. Sadly the museum does not have the resources to be able to publicise itself eg through catalogue or website. Definitely worth a detour to visit!
