For Danube dining, take a supper cruise on the Balkan Princess, a boat-restaurant that serves plenty of fish and meat, plus cocktails and other drinks from the bar. Since the boat only sails when there’s a crowd, you may be dining stationary, though there’s no surcharge if so.

    Unlikely to sail for a while

    gluepack does not recommend this,

    At the time of writing, the Danube is at a very low level and the boat has no chance of moving away from its moorings. Also, one pontoon of the dock is up on dry land, causing the boat to list which may make for some interesting dining experiences. We didn't go onboard (saw it from the towpath) but the apparent state of it from there didn't look too great. That doesn't necessarily detract from the food, of course.
