Blog: Brilliant Tips Travel Blog - 19 October 2009

Once a quiet, picturesque fishing village, Brazil’s Armacao dos Buzios, or Buzios for short, is now a beautiful beach destination known for its thriving, electric night life. Blog: Atlas Parasite - 31 August 2009

To see the amazing Iguazú waterfalls, you can choose one of two sides (if not both): the Brazilian or the Argentinian one. Now I guess from the Brazilian side might be easy to get there, because you have Foz do Iguaçu nearby which would make for easier and more connections (airport included), but I was [...]Rating: 0.0/10 (0 votes cast)

  10. Paranagua, Brazil

Blog: Patrick and Katrina do the Globe - 26 August 2009

If Brazil is a Nine West and we are a size 8...then Sao Paolo and Rio (which we visited a couple years back) would be a pair of 8 1/2 black patent stilettos--stylish, glamorous, but maybe a tad too big. Ouch, blisters. We both decided we were ready to try something a little smaller on for size. Problem was we weren't exactly sure what we were looking for. We showed up at the Sao Paulo bus station, picked a bus to Curitiba which left in 10 minutes, and we were on our way.

Blog: Paris By Appointmenty Only - 20 August 2009

Would you believe me if I told you that people travel across the world to have their private parts waxed in New York City? You ought to, because like pizza, bagels and overproduced musicals, NYC does the Brazilian bikini wax best. More specifically, Janea Padilha (above, center) of the J Sisters salon in midtown Manhattan does it best. As well she should—she invented it!

  19. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Blog: Patrick and Katrina do the Globe - 19 November 2007

November marked six months at our new jobs, which most importantly meant that we now qualified to take vacation days! Wasting no time, we set out on our maiden voyage to South America-- Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to be exact. We quickly learned that traveling overseas to South America is nothing like the transatlantic flights to Europe. Our combined 13-hours in the air on American Airlines was cramped and uncomfortable and to make matters worse the promised showing of "Evan Almighty" never happened.
