Pássaro Verde runs six daily buses from Diamantina to Belo Horizonte (R$53, five hours, from 1am to 6pm). To the neighboring historical town of Serro, there are two buses daily (R$16, 2½ hours); schedules vary, but there’s always one morning and one afternoon bus.
