The intercity bus station in Boiçucanga has services to São Paulo (R$30, four hours, eight daily), Guarujá (R$19, two hours, six daily) and São Sebastião (R$10, one hour, six daily). Intercity buses usually stop at smaller towns such as Camburi and Maresias. There is also a local bus service (R$2.50) connecting Boiçucanga with Maresias, Camburi and other nearby coastal towns.
