Lonely Planet review
Colorful Cobreu offers basic dorms and private rooms, plus a DVD library, balconies overlooking the quaint Ladeira do Carmo, interiors done by a well-known local graffiti artist, and the cool Cafe Alquimia downstairs. Travelers rave about the helpful staff but complain about the stuffy temperatures in summer.
Our independent authors have visited Hostel Cobreu and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Salvador.
