Lonely Planet review
This bright, welcoming hostel in a converted family home on a quiet residential street is the best budget bet for ambience, space and location. Private rooms and six- or seven-bed dorms (one is women-only) are set around a courtyard with mango and acerola (acidic, cherry-flavored fruit) trees. Amiable bilingual owner Filipe is a fount of local information, and a small family of fluffy rabbits adds to the homey feel.
Our independent authors have visited Cosmopolitan Hostel and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Recife.
