Getting there & away

Ten daily buses (only four on Sunday) run to Pipa from the Rodoviária Nova in Natal (R$8.50, two hours). If you are arriving from the south, get out at Goianinha (1½ hours from João Pessoa), where Kombi vans run frequently to Pipa (R$2.50, 40 minutes, 5am to 10pm) from behind the blue church, 250m off the main road.

For travelers heading south from Pipa, Pipatour can reserve bus seats from Goianinha for a R$6 fee.
