A Maceió institution, Divina Gula specializes in the hearty cuisine of Minas Gerais and the Northeast. The picanha (steak) is excellent as is the carne do sol with plantains, corn, zucchini and inhame (a starchy root) purée. The outdoor tables in front are a good spot to sample one of 50 different kinds of cachaça (sugarcane spirit).
