A multistory block of plain but adequate rooms coated in gray and white high-gloss paint. Ask for a room with a window, or one on the top floor where at least the corridor is sunny. Be wary of freelance guides who hang around here, peddling cut-rate tours on the sidewalk. The hotel doesn’t allow them in the lobby or up to the rooms, but be ready to be pounced on once you step outside the door.
