Dishes are large enough for two (mostly fish with a few meat and chicken options) and come with a terrific view – during the rainy season you can watch storm clouds march up and down the river.

    The 2nd-floor open-air dining area has fine river views and breezes. The chef's special is an ample fillet of tucanaré (peacock bass) stuffed with shrimp, tomato and cheese, served with rice, beans and farofa (manioc flour sautéed with butter).

    This big new pizza joint has a pleasant dining area with wood tables and chairs and high peaked ceiling. The food reasonably good, and you can get it delivered.
