Lonely Planet review
A century-old rubber-baron mansion in a safe area is the perfect home for Belém’s one and only youth hostel. Smallish women’s and men’s dorms have new bunks and large lockers, plus 4m ceilings and gorgeous wood floors. Internet, common kitchen, and laundry service are welcome features. Prices are high for a hostel, but it’s still an attractive place.
