Lonely Planet review
If you are looking for a place with character, this rustic pousada in a 100-year old colonial house has bags of it. Owner and local wildlife expert Joel Souza of Ecoverde Tours is one of the founders of ecotourism in the area and his homely hotel is full of antique radios and books on the Pantanal. There’s also a small courtyard and garden, plus washing machine and kitchen for guest use.
Our independent authors have visited Pousada Ecoverde and selected this as one of our recommended guesthouses in Cuiabá.
