Real Norte (3542 2324, toll-free 0800 647 6666; www.realnorte.com.br) has bus service from Xapuri to Rio Branco (R$17, four hours) twice daily at 6am and 3:30pm. There’s only one bus from Xapuri to Brasiléia (R$7, 1½ hours) departing at 9:30am. Alternatively, you can catch a cab to the turnoff at Highway BR-317, where additional buses to Rio Branco pass at 7am, noon and 7pm, and to Brasiléia at 3pm.
