Bus
The bus station is 500m from the listed hotels and the main commercial strip; a taxi either direction costs R$5. Real Norte (3546 3257; www.realnorte.com.br) has daily services to Rio Branco (R$19, four hours, departing at 6am, 11am, 2pm, 3pm and 6pm), Xapuri (R$7, two hours, at 2pm only) and Assis Brasil (R$9, two hours, at 10:30am and 4pm). You can usually catch a collective taxi to any of the above as well; the fares are roughly double and you may need a minimum of four passengers, but the trip tends to be quicker and the driver will drop you at your hotel door.
