1. Electric Train Ride

   The 19km Electric Train Ride from Campos do Jordão to Santo Antônio do Pinhal is one of the country's best. There are five trains daily on weekends, but only two trains daily on weekdays. The train leaves from Campos (from the Capivari terminal at the end of Av Emílio Ribas). For the best views, sit on the right-hand side when leaving Campos.

2. Morro da Cruz chairlift

   Scout out the area surrounding Nova Friburgo from Morro da Cruz (1800m). It's accessible by chairlift; the chairlift station is in the center at Praça Teleférico.

   Close to Capivari is a teleférico (chairlift) that takes you to the top of the Morro do Elefante, which has a good view of the town.
