Feijoada da Lana information
Lana, a journalist by trade, offers her hugely popular version of feijoada , Brazil's national dish, inside a smallish Vila Madalena house. Production here isn’t as elaborate as at more expensive options or fancy hotels, but it's long on smiling service, hearty goodness and (included on weekends!) batidinhas de limão , a sort of shaken caipirinha.
In our humble opinion – and Anthony Bourdain's! – it's the best feijoada for the buck in town, and you don't have to wait until Saturday to enjoy it.
