This very agreeable, upscale bakery is especially popular with the gay Paulistano community for its gourmet sandwiches and salads served around the clock. Expect lines in the wee hours as clubs start to close.

    Good food, fair price, anytime

    Bella Paulista is open 24/7 and it serves great tasting sandwiches named after Sao Paulo's neibourghoods. Paraiso, for exemple, is a nice try. The sandwiches are made on big breads, like baguettes or ciabatta, and have genorous stuffing, so one should be enough for two people if you are not very hungry. The place is also famous for its excelent brownie and soup buffet at winter time. This is the right place to go after a movie in one of the many theaters in the region or after partying at the clubs in Augusta or Bela Cintra streets.
