In a good location near the shops and restaurants of Jardim Paulista, the Golden Tulip has excellently appointed rooms done up in warm, inviting tones. The service is friendly and efficient.
The nicely designed lobby is a fair reminder that Brazil is a tropical country, with abundant sunlight flooding the enormous atrium. The guestrooms also get excellent sunlight and each one has a small balcony. As might be expected for this fairly new building, the design is modern and trim. Light woods give the rooms are a more spacious feel, and the armchair, good overhead lighting and prints hanging on the wall are nice features. Although all the amenities are here (including a spa, a gym and two restaurants), there are some hiccups in the design. The rooftop pool is too small and feels rather forlorn surrounded by taller buildings.
