The newest branch of Livraria da Travessa is a great place to browse. There are some books in English, and an array of colorful (but pricey) coffee-table books. There’s another branch at Travessa de Ouvidor 17 around the corner and a third Centro branch on Ave Rio Branco 44, all with in-store café-restaurants.
