A charming Italian restaurant set in an old house with high ceilings, creaky floors and candlelit ambience. Lunch specials are particularly good value.

    OK, if you don´ t mind the cigar stench!

    What could be a nice setting with honest Italian cuisine got ruined by a smoking section set up in the covered patio. Local laws actually prohibit smoking in closed areas, but that didn't deter management in this case. The strong smell of cigarette smoke permeated throughout the restaurant, even beyond the smoking area. In the day I was there, one cigar smoker by the door gave the whole restaurant an odd stench certainly incompatible with the tomato sauce. Be ready to do your laundry the day after.
