Lonely Planet review for Porcão Rio’s
Set in the Parque do Flamengo with a stunning view of Pão de Açúcar, Porcão Rio’s is consistently ranked by restaurant critics as the city’s best churrascaria. Whether you believe the hype – or simply come for the view – you’re in for an eating extravaganza. Arrive early, both to score a good table and to see the view before sunset.

Most impressive buffet in Latin America
crisnog recommends this,
Porcao's chefs have an extremely refined taste. I tend to go every other month, and it never ceases to wow me on how they always have trendy new and refined dishes in a buffet scenario, which is usually decorated with staple items like asparagus, broccoli, grana padano and sun dried tomatoes.
Good for: large groups, family, Foodies, Friends, meat lovers, feasts, business men

Meat lover's paradise
ccasserino recommends this,
I travel the world a fair bit and this is definitely in my top 5 meals ever. The swarm of waiters carrying different cuts of meat/sausage/chicken descend upon you without remorse until you throw your hands up in surrender. The beef is absolutely mouthwatering, the lamb outstanding, the sausage, pork, ribs, and chicken are incomparable. And if that's not enough, the waterfront and view of the Sugarloaf are spectacular. And if THAT's not enough, the mobile caiparinha mixer makes the best version of this drink I've tasted so far. I had the full meal, a 1/2 bottle of wine, a caiparinha and dessert and the total bill was R$163.00 (about $70 USD). Hence, it's not a budget restaurant, but I would have paid twice the price without flinching.
