This Santa favorite provides travelers with a home away from home. The spacious lounge, backyard patio with pool, ping-pong room and kitchen for guests all add to the charm. The rooms are clean, and there are attractive double rooms, including a private suite behind the pool. The hostel overlooks downtown Rio and lies along the bonde line. It can be a bit tricky to find – if you reach Curvelo Sq (the first major bonde stop), you've gone too far. Disembark and walk 200m back down the hill.
