Lonely Planet review
This is one of Rio's best-looking hostels. It's set in a converted two-story house with six- and nine-bed dorms (in the form of three-tiered bunk beds). There are private rooms, indoor and outdoor lounge spaces, a small bar and an attractive pool. Prices are higher on weekends.
Our independent authors have visited Ipanema Beach House and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Ipanema & Leblon.
