Lonely Planet review

The Hotel Vermont offers no-frills accommodations at a good location. Although the place received a makeover in recent years, the rooms are nothing fancy – small and clean, with tile floors, striped duvets and tiny, modern bathrooms. Light sleepers should avoid rooms facing noisy Visconde de Pirajá.

Our independent authors have visited Hotel Vermont and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Rio de Janeiro City.
