Tour description provided by Intrepid

Soak up the sights and sounds of peaceful waterholes, meandering creeks and mighty rivers on this refreshing African adventure. Some of the continent's most iconic animals call Southern Africa home, including elephants, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles and ostriches. Explore the remote waterways of the extraordinary Okavango Delta in Botswana, be awed by the thunder of Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls and travel down the Chobe River at sunset as animals come out to play. The contrast of Africa's wild plains and bustling cities makes for an enriching and thrilling travel experience.

Day 1 Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls is a town on the Zimbabwean side of the falls, with spectacular views and a reputation as the adventure capital of Zimbabwe.
Day 2 Chobe National Park
With a diverse range of ecosystems, a humungous number of elephants and the largest concentration of game found in Africa, Chobe National Park is safari heaven.
Day 3 Maun
Maun is a small town in Botswana that's the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Despite its touristy veneer, it still retains its rural feel.
Days 4-6 Okavango Delta/Maun
Full of animals, islands and unforgettable scenery, the Okavango Delta is the world's largest inland delta and is best explored by mokoro (dugout canoe). With donkeys competing with cars on the streets and cattle sellers operating alongside Delta tour operators, Maun has more on offer than the spectacular Okavango Delta.
Day 7 Khama Rhino Sanctuary
Dedicated to saving the endangered rhino and helping improve the area's animal numbers, Khamo Rhino Sanctuary's young yet beautiful park is flourishing with wildlife.
Days 8-9 Soweto/Johannesburg
It doesn't always have the best reputation, but Johannesburg has fascinating, vibrant places to explore like Soweto, Alexandra, Rosebank Flea Market and its wonderful museums.
