Island Safari Lodge
Lonely Planet review
One of the original lodges in Maun, Island Safari Lodge is also still one of the best, with a range of accommodation that nicely spans different budgets. The campsites have ablutions blocks and give access to the lodge’s pool, restaurant and bar. The budget rooms are rundown but well-priced, while the chalets are excellent value. It also runs a professional, well-established series of safaris; the riverside location is ideal on lazy Okavango afternoons and the restaurant is excellent.
Our independent authors have visited Island Safari Lodge and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Maun.
