Introducing Northern Botswana
The central jewel in Northern Botswana's crown is the Okavango Delta, at its most spectacular in the wet when it spreads across the desert becoming a beacon for bird and animal-life for miles. This region also encompasses the Moremi Wildlife Reserve and the town of Maun, a convenient start or finish point for a trip to the delta.

To the north-west, the Tsolido Hills rise abruptly from the flat desert, and to the north-east, at the towns of Kasane and Kazungula, Botswana meets with 3 other African nations - Zambia , Namibia and Zimbabwe.
The flat expanses of Savuti are a good resting point for a trip between Maun and Kasane. As if that's not enough, the region also boasts two wonderful national parks: Chobe National Park and Makgadikgadi & Nxai Pans National Park, comprised of the great salt pans of Sua, Ntwetwe and Nxai.
