We went from Dubrovnik to Mostar through the.Neretva Valley. It is very scenic and beautiful. Beware of speed traps. Our GPS said the speed was 80. We saw no posted siignage to the contrary and we were doing 66.
We had no Euros or Marks as we'd just come from Croatia. They made my husband fill out a ton of paperwork and we had to drive 30km back into…
Hello anybody out there!
We are going to rent a car and drive in B&H in June. Scenic routes are preferred. I have understood Mostar - Sarajevo is a must do. Are there other routes to recommend?
What Navigation apps (Android) works well in Bosnia? Currently I am using Waze.
Any good recommendation for local sim card for data? Need good coverage around Mostar and Sarajevo.
One of our option is to rent a car and the phone navigator would be an alternative to renting a satnav.
Our family of 5 will be traveling in Slovenia and Croatia for two weeks this summer. On our way to Ljubljana from the Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia, we hope to drive over to Bihac for a few hours of sightseeing and lunch. We would love any suggestions for an atmospheric restaurant with interesting regional food. Also, any must see attractions in town would be great. Thanks for your suggestions in advance.

I am going to Greece with my girlfriend. I have more time than she does so I plan on flying to the Balkan 2 weeks earlier, around May 23rd, and then traveling by land to meet her in Athens. I bought the LP Southern Europe book, though it is not as informative as I would like about bus times. I like to play it by ear when traveling and I find bus more flexible than train. From the LP it looks like I might not need bus reservations since it will not be the peak season. I was looking for…
Hello all! I would like to know where can I go to listen to some sevdah music in Mostar (or in other locations, but preferably in Mostar). When I visited a few years ago I was very lucky: a local friend told me it would not be possible as there are no live performances regularly but we went out for a drink and by sheer luck the band playing in the venue ended with a few sevdah songs. This time I would love to go to a place knowing some sevdah would be heard.
