I wonder whether anyone can help me with the following question:
I plan on entering Bosnia and Hercegovina by car next year. Before driving on the Kakanj-Sarajevo motorway, will I have to get some local money or can I pay the road toll in euro?
Thanks for any help!
we want to go to Sarajevo in January 2015. We would like to stay in the area for about a week. Could you please give us some advice on activities, which we could do there at that time of the year? Which places are best to go out and meet locals?
Many thanks in advance : )
So last night we (myself and family) were in a car accident in Bosnia, between Mostar and trebinje (staying in dubrovnik, this was a day trip). Everyone was fine, but now we need to get hold of a police report from trebinje from a post office for the car rental company. We need to do this tomorrow (Saturday) as we get the ferry from split on Sunday which is only once a week. Does anyone know the opening hours of the trebinje post office or post offices in general in Bosnia?…
Hi, I will shortly visit Sarajevo. Does anyone know if there is a paintball shop in Sarajevo? I have tried to search without result although there seem to be active paintball clubs there. Thanks!

Hello, all, I will be in Sarajevo/Mostar from this Saturday to the 23rd. I see bus options from Sarajevo to Belgrade but I really would prefer an overnight train. My searches online have been frustratingly fruitless. Does anyone know if any trains run this route?
Any recommendations for a quick trip to Bosnia in December? Mostar is definitely on the agenda. And possibly a day trip for skiing. But I was also considering a day trip (by renting a car) to Visegrad and Srebrenica. Is renting a car in December fine for driving in this area? Or is snow bad?
My experiences of renting a car from SixT. I fixed it up in the UK and booked a car with GPS but they managed to give me TWO separate defective GPS units when I arrived at Sarajevo. I got lost ended up on a country road and scratched the car. They were pretty rude and unsympathetic when I got back to their offices.
We will be driving from Sarajevo to Zabljak next month and my route planner indicates that we take road number 14 from a point on E762 just before we cross Piva Lake which cross`s Durmito NP and eventually joins Narodnith Heroja.
Is this road paved (tarmaced) all the way ?
