The new Zamberlan Women's 308 Trekker Hiking Bootis are built for comfort on the trail and specifically for those who appreciate a traditional leather-lined boot with modern amenities. Built on a Vibram Ananasi platform, this hiker allows for excellent shock absorption with enough support to handle a 40 pound pack. The 308 Trekker encases the foot in 2.4mm waxed Tuscan leather and is protected up front with Zamberlan's RRS (rubber-reinforcement-system). Lned with leather and Cambrelle for moisture wicking, this boot has the looks and performance of an instant classic.

These may be great
First of all, I love the way this boot looks even though the actual color is more of an olive leather with a grey suede at ankle. It appears brown/beige in photo but didn't matter to me, I still like the look. I have only had these for a little over a week so I cannot comment on durability at this point. I'm only doing light day hiking so far as I'm recovering from sprained ankle but feel very supported in this boot which is is exactly what I need/want. Looking forward to getting lots of use out of these. They seem extremely well made, are comfortable, and I don't feel like I'm wearing cinder blocks on my feet. Overall, they seem to fit my foot well. (I have a regular width foot with a slightly high arch) I usually wear a 9 in boots (8.5 in shoes), that's what I ordered (9) and that's what fits. I originally ordered a pair of boots (for similar $) from a different co but wasn't blown away with look/fit/perceived durability so I returned them and am glad I did b/c I never would have come across these. I know they're pricey but all indications are they're worth it.
