excellent value and quality
The quality of the stag shirt is great. Heavy washable wool blend is easy to care for. Price at 50% off was outstanding. I had one of these 35 years ago until it finally wore out.

Exactly what I was hoping it would be
This is my first order from Altrec. I wanted to get the Woolrich Men's Stag Shirt because I'm tired of cheap garments with no character. Great for the "in between " seasons.
Versatile garment for those times when flannel isn't enuff but a field coat is too much. Fits that niche perfectly; add a waterproof shell and you're in business!

excellent shirt/jacket
If you live in the piedmont of the southeastern US, this garment is useful most winter days. It will probably last longer than I do. Polyester doesn't cut it for me -- too irritating -- so I look for natural fibers. It'll take more than a glowing coal to ruin this jacket. Long enough to cover my bony rear end, and it has pockets so I can slouch in my accustomed style. Why didn't I buy one 20 years ago?
