Nearly 100 years old and still as good as it gets, the Woolrich Stag Shirt for Men wears like a shirt, but functions like a warm jacket. One of the most rugged, practical outdoor shirts we've ever made. That's why it's a favorite of many of our avid outdoor enthusiasts. Still built with nearly century-old quality, but now in a washable wool (80% wool/20% nylon) that makes it easier than ever to care for. The legendary front and back double yokes shed moisture and hold in the warmth. Two chest pockets with button-close openings under the front yoke for extra protection. Hand-warmer pockets. Adjustable button cuffs.

excellent value and quality
The quality of the stag shirt is great. Heavy washable wool blend is easy to care for. Price at 50% off was outstanding. I had one of these 35 years ago until it finally wore out.
Exactly what I was hoping it would be
This is my first order from Altrec. I wanted to get the Woolrich Men's Stag Shirt because I'm tired of cheap garments with no character. When my Woolrich shirt showed up and I opened the package, I had a big ole smile on my face. After putting it on, I said to myself "this is exactly what I was hoping it would be." Thanks Altrec for a great experience and giving me a garment I look forward to wearing in this chilly weather. - Calvin, South Carolina
good qualityshirt
My husband loved this shirt. The colors were nice and modern and the fit was excellent. Great outdoor shirt!
Great for the "in between " seasons.
Versatile garment for those times when flannel isn't enuff but a field coat is too much. Fits that niche perfectly; add a waterproof shell and you're in business!
excellent shirt/jacket
If you live in the piedmont of the southeastern US, this garment is useful most winter days. It will probably last longer than I do. Polyester doesn't cut it for me -- too irritating -- so I look for natural fibers. It'll take more than a glowing coal to ruin this jacket. Long enough to cover my bony rear end, and it has pockets so I can slouch in my accustomed style. Why didn't I buy one 20 years ago?
