Wool is Cool, I mean Warm.
I've always been a flannel fan; the look ,comfort and warmth were the main reasons. However I am quite active outdoors and usually choose technical clothing for wicking performance. This shirt does it all. You can be outdoors with a bit of style while keeping warm with great breathability. The shirt is cut very generous, almost on the large side. The 7oz material is not too heavy, it still feels like a shirt and not a light jacket. The inside shoulder/neck arear is lined but you will feel the itchynees of the wool anywhere your skin is exposed. I became used to it very quickly but usaully wera a long sleeve shirt underneath(you then feel nothing). The shirt kept me warm last trip out with only a short sleeve and one long sleeve shirt underneath while my kids were wearing the same undershirts but with thier Denali jackets. When it gets a little warm..simply unbutton. I think I found my new favorite shirt.

I ordered this for my husband for Christmas and he LOVES it; basically has not taken it off, which is fine because its is washable wool.It's very nicely made, all the plaids match, the wool is heavy enough to be warm without being too bulky to wear indoors. The service was great- the package arrived two days sooner than I thought it would!

Great Shirt
I purchased this for my husband as a Christmas gift. He happened to walk into the room as I was wrapping it. He saw it and really wanted to wear it right away. Since we were in the middle of a snow storm, I decided to go ahead and give it to him so he could start enjoying it. He loves it. It fits great,looks great, and is really warm.

The wool fabric has a bit of a rough hand to it, but perhaps with repeated washing it will soften up a bit. Altrec service was great and fast.
