Comfortable beyond description
I purchased this brand for the first time. Because I do a lot of hiking, and have a size 13 foot - I am always looking for durable comfortable shoes. The Wenger exceeded my expectations. The leather outside demonstrated excellent water proofing and flexibility. The inner shoe has wonderful padding that permits you to wear these even for long distances and over varied terrain while still having great comfort.

Sturdy and Comfy
Good pair of shoes. I buy many pairs of hiking/tail shoes and this pair is comfortable, and true to size. It has a good heel strike and a comfy tounge. Laces stayed tied. Haven't tested the waterproofness, but waxy type leather ususally is a winner.

look good but fit Bad
Others said that these run small and to order up a half size. I did, but should not have. I returned them and ordered my true size. they fit true to length but are super wide (please note that this is coming from someone who has wide feet!). Due to the width, my feet do not feel stable in these shoes on variable terrain. To increase stability I wear thick socks and added an insert which helped a little. I would have returned them but the first time I wore them I scuffed them up a bit and did not think they could be returned. For the price, I am disapointed.
