Great Shoe
I bought the blue color when they had it in stock. The shoe is very comfortable and didn't need anytime to break in. I would definitely recommend the shoe to friends. Altrec customer service is awesome!

Excellent shoe!
These shoes far exceeded my expectations. They have great support, run true to size and are very high quality. The sole looks extremely durable and has great traction that will work under muddy conditions. The dusty blue is a muted tone that will not make larger feet look bigger, will not clash with other gear and the styling is attractive. I agree with others that this shoe will not need to be broken in prior to wear, very comfortable from the start.

Great Shoe!
The Velocity is SO Comfortable while also offering great support, and they are nice looking too! Compared with the AMP, they are just a bit longer in length, but I still order my true size.

Different sizing
I ordered the Vasque Velocity after trying on the similar Vasque Velocity VST. This shoe has a smaller toe box and the 8.5 was too small, so I had to return them. Also, the arch support is much better in the VST. I think Vasque has a great product, I just think that the VST is the better shoe for me.

Love these shoes
I just purchased my second pair. I run trails 4 to 5 days per week, 4-6 miles each time. I cross all types of terrain...gravel, dirt roads, sand by the river, dirt packed trails and have to manuever over roots and climb over rocks. These shoes have never let me down and have probably prevented broken toes on more than one occasion. The grip is excellent and allows me to cross large, sometimes wet rocks without slipping. Very comfortable...zero break in period. Both times my new shoes arrived I put them on and went running.
