Great looking boot!
Bought this boot mainly for casual wear, going out etc. It fits great, laces aren't too long and is pretty light, even with all the metal built into it. No issues with this boot yet, the construction and durability are spot on! It will add an 1"+ to your height. Haven't tried out the waterproofing yet but if I see a big enough puddle I'll be jumping in!
Lightweight
I thought it was going to be a heavy boot. I was wrong it is lightweight and I have worn this boot for a year now and it still looks new. I love this boot. It wears like iron and is so lightweight. Great ankle support. I wear this going out in the town for work and play. I cant get over how tough this boot is. It still will look new after years of wear and tear. Also I am a big guy and can be brutal on boots. These are holdin up and plan on buyin another pair just because they look so good.
no zipper
this boot has no zipper; it's cousin (the chocolate brown one) does. it binds at the ankle bone during break-in but is getting better. the feet are very comfortable and dry (no sweat-haven't used in mud or rain yet) takes getting used to riding a motorcycle due to the sticky sole and the ladder lock.
Good looking, tough boots
These boots are great for work, very tough and durable. I've had my jet ski trailer roll up on the toe and didn't feel a thing. They look great and provide great ankle support. The only con is that you need heavy duty socks to prevent major rub to your toe tops because the safety toe is not well cushioned.
