Comfy theramarest
Needed a new theramarest for Hood to Coast relay and Cascade Lakes relay. Decided to go with the plush bigger model. No regrets. Perfect for laying on ground for rest periods between legs during the day and night. Ordered the XL size so have enough room to move and stretch. Very happy with upgrade.

Great-Thermarest BaseCamp XL Sleeping Pad
Have had numerous pads and cots over 60 yrs of camping. None have ever come close to this one. Set up is a breeze. Open the valve, take off for awhile, close it and you're ready to go. Comfort of course is relative, but in my rating, sleeping on this one is close to a 10. Ease of use is about the same. Too heavy of course for anything but base, size shouldn't be a criteria. XL is great for average size users. For anyone who wants quality and comfort in a base pad, this is a no brainer. Price relative to competition is excellent.

excellent sleep experience
At age 60, and with a couple of shoulder surgeries behind me, I was ready for a more cushy sleeping pad when I'm not backpacking with my ProLite. The Luxury Map does the job: comfortable, easy to use, and sturdy.

Next Best Thing to Sleeping on a Mattress
I hadn't been camping for 10 years until recently and sleeping on this pad didn't make me long for my bed back home. The pad is thick enough so I didn't feel the hard West Virginia ground beneath me. It doesn't take much to blow up a pad but I like that this one is self inflating. The pad seems very durable, it would take a very sharp stick or rock to puncture it. I am 6' and the large pad was long enough so that my feet did not touch the ground and had an inch to spare. I highly recommend it.
