love the fit
A little long in the toe, but the snug and supportive cage allows multi-directional ascent and descent in complete confidence. The sticky rubber is a "Smeracle" on wet and steep rocks. The shoe stays firmly planted and able to coast at any pace. The cushion is less stiff than backpackers without feeling spongy like a running shoe. Perfect shoe for the billy goat trail in great falls MD, or even the VA side to the waters edge. Also great for dog walking.
