Heading out on a sojourn down the 'Powder Highway' you never know what conditions are going to materialize; you get what you get, and choosing gear can be as fickled as the weather. A partial dilemma solver is to bring along the versatile three-in-one Women's Passport Triclimate Jacket from The North Face. This all-weather jacket provides optimal cold and wet weather protection as an all-in-one parka, and breaks down for wearing of just the weather shell or around town nylon insulating jacket. Its waterproof, breathable, and seam sealed HyVent exterior features an adjustable, removable hood with brushed chin guard lining and center front stormflap for the ultimate in stay dry warmth during a challenging storm. Its liner jacket is insulated in 100g Heatseeker Eco that toasts your core even during a Rockies migration of bitter cold into the Intermountains. If a Chinook wind overwhelms the region, pit-zip vents allow for high activity air circulation during the warm up. Packed with pockets, two hand stashers and internal chest bin give convenient places for essentials. When you're in search of the golden ticket to ride, the TNF Women's Passport Triclimate Jacket is ready to take you there.

This jacket is very light, but warm and it fits me perfect. I wish I have the black shell jacket other than Loganberry Red inside.
great winter jacket.
LOVE this coat. I ordered the women's Passport jacket in black. It's very sleek in appearance, and not too bulky. It's warmth, however, is surprising. I received my jacket on a day when the temperature was 16 degrees Fahrenheit, and it definitely kept me warm. The jacket is a good windbreaker, as well. The coat fits true to size - I ordered a size Medium, though my measurements lined up with size Small, figuring on wearing heavier clothes during the winter. Love the liner, as well. It is great for fall days when you don't need the heavier jacket. Great value, as you get 3 jackets in one!
KEWL!!!
The jacket is really nice. I purchased two colors; one in black and the other one in different shades of blue. I like it for a nice spring hike, but there is no way this jacket would keep me warm in a European Winter or a mad dash trip to Iceland as the insulation is not enough. To help others to decide on size etc., I'm 5'8"and 119lbs and there is ample room for somebody with a slightly heavier frame as it's a tad big on me. I wish The North Face made jackets in XXS because that size would be a perfect fit, unfortunately they don't, therefore I buy size XS and deal with it. I hope this helps.
Women's Passport Triclimate Jacket
Very light jacket. Haven't tried it in the exteme cold yet. Great for San Diego's moderate weather. Keeps warm at least at 40 F especially when you are moving around. I am bringing it to New Orleans to try out colder temperatures and will update review accordingly if possble. Fits well. Bought a small so that I would have room for layers. Plenty of room to move around. Am 5 ft and weight 110 lbs.
Good but light weight.
I really like this jacket and the liner jacket. The fit was good... true to size. But it's a little light weight. The shell is truly a shell and all of the insulation is in the liner jacket which was nice but not really enough for freezing temps I think. I will have to return it and try to get one that is insulated a little more.
