You don't have to sacrifice fashionable footwear whenever a fresh layer of snow blankets your neighborhood streets. The North Face Women's Janey Boot features a waterproof full grain upper backed with a breathable HydroSeal membrane. Along the bottom of the boot is a rugged TNF Winter Grip outsole studded with innovative, snowflake-shaped Ice Pick temperature-sensitive rubber lugs. If you read any consumer product reviews or comparisons regarding boots and footwear from The North Face, you probably heard about these temperature-sensitive lugs on Winter Grip#153; outsoles. Ice Pick rubber lugs harden in cold conditions to increase traction on ice and hardpack, but soften indoors so you don't have to worry about marking up your neighbor's wood floors. Inside the compression molded midsole of the Janey Boot is a three-quarter length TPU shank for additional support. If the rawhide leather lace along the front of the upper looks like a moccasin, you'll appreciate the moccasin-like feel of the brushed tricot lining and warm PrimaLoft Eco insulation inside this boot. The North Face Janey Boot offers women a level of quality and comfort anyone would want throughout the winter months.

Very Cute and Functional
These are very very cute and do the job just fine! Highly recomended! Searched all over for boots that would look nice and were functional for the cold weather. I'm very pleased with these.
Great boots!
These boots are very comfortable and wipe clean easily. I love the classy look of them and the durable bottoms. Great boot!
Excellent fit
The boots provides excellent fit. It is soft and warm. The quality is excellent that during the big storm, my feet stay toasty warm, dry and comfortable.
Disappointed
I was very happy to get the Janey boots. They're comfortable and look good, but the first time I wore them for a snow hike, my toes were cold and when I got home and took the boots off, my socks were wet half way up my instep. They were not waterproofed properly and when they dried, there's a water stain on top of the toe of the boot. The walk was not in deep snow, only about 4 inches or less.
