Great boot for the day hiker
Lightweight hiking shoe, very comfortable and sturdy in challenging terrain. The ankle area is well padded for those long hikes and the shoe holds your foot firmly in place to prevent rolling and slipping. Would buy these again!!

Best Shoe Ever!
The day after my boots arrived we went on a 9 mile hike and my feet didn't hurt at all, and no blisters! Where we went hiking there was several different types of terrain - large/small rocks, dense forest and open fields and mountains. We even crossed through a few streams and my feet did not get wet. I would recommend this shoe to any one!

Pleasantly surprised
True to size and a bit more attractive than the picture! They are very comfortable; I was surprised as I did not think I would like the low-cut hiking boot. Wear lighter socks for everyday wear, as they are very warm.

Haven't Been a Good Choice
So I bought these for my wife on Altrec. Initially she loved them. She wore them around town and a few walks to break them in a little bit before taking them out on the trails. But whenever she has hiked in them she has gotten terrible blisters. We have tried every sock combination possible and even had her wear them with moleskin, all of this has been to no avail. Needless to say, before we start the new hiking season this spring, she will be getting new shoes.
