Great Coat, Great Price!
I purchased the North Face Women's East Village coat. Altrec had it on sale for a great price, and I could not resist. I knew it was going to be a great buy because I perviously purchased the North Face Triple C Coat and am thoroughly satisfied with that coat as well.

Must Have for your Winter Wardrobe!
I am a fan of NorthFace merchandise for many reasons. This coat is no exception! It provides great warmth and comfort. The only drawback is there is no option for a hood. However, the design is slim and chic. I have it in black and absolutely LOVE it! It is the perfect length for the winter months - a must have for your Winter wardrobe!

warm & chic
I absolutely love this coat. I tried on several other North Face & Patagonia ones in my search for the perfect long down coat. This one hit that balance of warmth and style. This morning I walked my kindergartner a mile to school at 17 degrees with only a light fleece underneath (and he's not a fast walker), and only my fingers were cold. And dare I say it looks svelte and figure-flattering? I tried the similar Patagonia one and it was about 2 inches shorter and more flared and didn't work at all. I'm 5'9" and 140 lbs, got a large to allow for layering, and I have a little extra room but it still looks good. The sleeves are nice & long and the elastic wrist is not too tight, but snug enough to stay put over the cuff of my gloves. Very lightweight but oh-so cozy. I'm in love! The only think I would ask for is an inside chest pocket for my phone or wallet.

I got my jacket today, what a quality product NF has made. Neck part design provides secure and warm fit, two zip pockets I did not expect, and I just love the shell of this jacket, silky soft. This jacket is so warm, once I put it on, I do not want to take it off again! too bad, had to cook and does not want to spoil the silky shell. I am about 5"6, 135 pounds. When I tried a size small on in a store, it looked a little tight, so I ordered size M, it fits perfectly and very flattering, the best jacket I have ever had! The color "squid red" looks a little more like dark purple, I wish I got a white one or blue one, but they are sold out. I am ok with this color so I will keep it. The chat line was a big help to me when I needed to know more about the shipping choices and track my order, Thanks! pros and cons are from my first impression, I have not been outside with this jacket yet.

Light and warm and not bulky
I bought this coat for my GF. She loves it bc it it light and superwarm. It is 700 filled and yet not too bulky as it does not make her look big as most women worry about it. She got a lot of compliment from her friends. It fits smaller than most NF jacket. Sorry try it on first. Highly recommended!
