Awesome Tent!
My family just spent a week and a half in this tent through all sorts of weather from strong winds, hail, heavy rain, and hot sun. It performed fabulously and kept us all comfortable and happy!

Excellent family tent
We bought this tent for summer family camping. It is very sturdy, well designed, and is very easy for one person to set up. The tent is up in less than ten minutes. The tent is well ventilated and very roomy--you won't feel cramped inside with fewer than six people. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Fantastic
We bought this tent last year for Burning Man. It made it through that week just fine and we've used it at least five more times in various weather conditions and it's come through like a trooper! We've recommended it to many other friends and Burners! Fantastic!

The North Face at large
Bought this big-one for a 2 week trip to Montana last summer. I was curious to see how they'd do with a "family 3+ season" tent after being brought up with using; VE-24, Apogee, Mountain, Lenticlure....Well, it's a stud, big, roomy, and well put-together tent. I had the opportunity to put it through some blustry (30-40 mph winds and rain) weather at 9,500 ft just below Brianhead, UT and it felt great! Very secure, as long as u use the guy lines and pitch it right...takes about 15 mins w/two people. Later went to Yellowstone and pitch at the edge of town just befor a storm came in that knocked out power from 10p to 3am...saw a hole lot of traditional family/multiroom tents knocked over (ha,ha). The Trailhead just took-it...no problem thanks to its strong and well designed fly. I'm sure there are more "accomodating" tents this size but none i saw standing after a good blow. The Trailhead is a great tent for out-of-the car/truck camping with no worries about what mothernatue may deal-out! Looking forward to putting it through somemore challeging situations......

Great Tent
We just bought this tent and my girlfriend and I spent 9 days at a campground in it. I can set this tent up easily alone wich I have done a few times. The vestibule is huge. We have the 2005 model with the full fly. Is very roomy. We set up an ozark trail camp table in one side and a queen air mattress on the other and had plenty of room for chairs in center. Does great in hard rain no leaks at all after all night of rain. However I did seal around the floor seam wich most of lays on ground. Took 6 oz of seam grip... The huge doors and mess cieling and panels in sleeping compartment really vent well. No problems in the heat. We closed the room divider at night and it made sleeping nice and warm. Only drawback that kept it from a 5 is the fly zippers snag terribly. You have to reach out from in tent and constantly pull the zipper cover out of the slider. Not once could I open any door without a snag. Even the inner tent doors have a zipper cover for some reason and also snag very badly. Very hard to get out of tent if you don't know what you are doing. Tent has plenty of storage pockets and the room dividers can be stowed into corner of cieling or suspended open into center of tent for a huge storage bin sort of. Very nice strong poles and excellent design. Also the light grey color doesn't heat up in the sun like a darker color. Tent stays nice and cool with a fan in it. Or a good breeze. Just a shame about all the door zippers. I'm gonna try spraying all the zippers with silicone next time I use it. Hope that helps...
